CommentsExcellent site, olthough your way of registering motor vehicles is a bit confusing. In New Zealand may years ago number plates were changed each year with a new number being issued. We then decided to have to following: Each vehicle would be issued with w permanent plates starting with AA 1 working its way towards AA9999, the numbering would change to AB1 and so forth. All thoughs numbers have beed used so we now have AAA1 to AAA999 etc. But an excellent site.

The thread is left handed, 3/4 dia, 16 tpi. The size of the Hex is not material. I think this is a UNF thread spec. Can any one help me with a source, new or second hand. The nearest I have got is a firm who would make them for me but they would cost as much as the trailer is worth. Any suggestions gratefully received. Michael Brown Tel 07795 418282

"Some van building continuing at Luton until transferring to the new Halewood premises".Having been employed at both Ford Halewood & Vauxhall Ellesmere Port, I think you will find it is the latter were vans where built.
